Firstly,
Members will also be pleased that we have purchased a brand new club house/gazebo for $99 from Anaconda (see pic). This is a much lighter one than we borrowed from the secretary’s daughter which makes it much easier for our Teams to manage along with all the other gear.

PRO's report.
9 boats started race 1 but 101 had a breakdown and retired from the regatta As Janet was without steerage Keith used his Master Mariner skills and buoy boat to get the 65 ashore.
With the forecast in mind the RC set only 1 windward and 1 leeward mark the breeze went from NW 315 degrees to SW 225 degrees, which is a 90 degree swing in 2 hours the RC responded with 5 course changes to facilitate a fair event, this was only possible with many willing helpers which is how a cohesive club should work.
There were 3 different winners and the sailing was keen
Ron was 1st on 8 points with 4 wins Barry 2nd on 9 with 3 wins and Mike 3rd on 19 Brian was the other heat winner
A huge thanks to all for backing up the PRO to make the event happen
Barry.
Many thanks again to Barry Glazier for acting as PRO / RC for this morning racing another great job Barry.
