Race report; Sunday 24 May, 2026, the DF95 model boat racing took place in dry conditions with occasional sunshine, as a result of unusual cloud cover. Unfortunately for Bruce R, during pre racing sailing time, he discovered that his boat was sinking.  Bruce then kindly offered to take over PRO duties from me to allow me (Nick R) to sail. The wind oscillating around, from the Northly direction. The light winds provided an interesting and challenging environment for all the competitors.  The race format was scratch racing, and we had 16 sailors (on the first race) and 8 races.  The starting line was very busy with a few races giving individual recalls for OCS. It was decided to have a course with a windward buoy,  a very wide spreader mark and leeward gate. Wind changed and slight course change.  With the 8 races completed, we had 4 different individual winners.  
As you can view in the results, not many points between positions.  Congratulations to Nick J on overall winner, with Nick R in second and Janet J in third.
