"Wanderers Radio Sailing Club - home of two of the largest DF fleets in WA"

Our club was established in 2009 with 4 members sailing the RCLaser remote controlled yacht. We now have more than 40 members, comprising newcomers to the sport, "big boat" state and world champions, ex-drone and model aircraft flyers, and experienced radio sailors. Our members are keen to promote radio controlled sailing in Perth by helping others learn to sail, race at the club level and compete in state and national events. We sail two one-design  classes, the Dragonforce 65 (DF65) & Dragonflite 95 (DF95). (One-design means all the boats are identical).

Why the DF65 and DF95? Wanderers sailors enjoy the performance, close racing and strict one-design aspect of the DF65 and DF95 classes, along with the very low entry cost to the sport.  Sailing one-design classes means that the boat's performance is totally up to the skipper.

You can sail with the club as a visitor 3 times before we will ask you to join. This is so you are covered under a public liability insurance policy whilst sailing at any of our venues.
